Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
We are seeking a Staff Pharmacist to provide short-term retail pharmacy coverage in Freeport, Illinois. This is an excellent opportunity for an Illinois-licensed pharmacist looking for a brief assignment with a competitive hourly rate.
Training will be provided the day before the scheduled coverage shift.
Schedule
Thursday, August 20: 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM (Paid Training)
Friday, August 21: 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM (Coverage Shift)
Responsibilities
Accurately verify and dispense prescription medications.
Provide medication counseling and education to patients.
Perform final prescription verification while ensuring patient safety and regulatory compliance.
Administer immunizations as needed.
Support daily pharmacy operations and deliver exceptional customer service.
Required Qualifications
Active and unrestricted Illinois Pharmacist License.
Retail pharmacy experience preferred.
Immunization certification preferred.
Experience with EPS pharmacy software is a plus but not required.
