Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN)

The Operating Room Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care in a surgical setting. This position involves both direct patient care and collaboration with surgical teams to ensure successful patient outcomes.

Shift Details

• Schedule: 4x10 hour shifts
• Typical Weekend Requirement: Every 4th weekend with weekday coverage, subject to staffing needs
• On-Call Requirement: Yes, based on call rotation with staff

Floating and Flexibility

The Registered Nurse may be required to float within the scope of practice to meet facility needs or between similar units.

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in the operating room setting required
• First-Timers: Accepted
• Licensure: Valid SC license or Compact license must be in hand prior to start
• Certifications: Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required

Miscellaneous Information

• Block Schedule Accommodations: Approval can be requested, but it is not guaranteed
• Local Radius: Candidates within 60 miles are considered
• Local Candidates: Accepted on a case-by-case basis
• Guaranteed Hours: Facility allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
