Our client is a key player in the grain handling/equipment industry. With manufacturing and construction capabilities. Headquartered in Iowa, they have regional locations that need attention as well. They are looking for a Regional Operations Manager in the Garden City, Kansas area.

The role you will play :

·        Manage day to day field and office operations across multiple projects and crews

·        Work alongside the sales and design team to grow the current customer base

·        Manage budgets, forecasts, job costs and revenue targets in the region.

·        Provide supervisory oversight on projects with a regular onsite presence.

·        Coordinate labor, subcontractors, materials and equipment for multiple projects

·        Provide updates to management and customers as needed.

Background profile :

·        Bachelor’s degree in Business, Construction Management, Agri-Business, Engineering, or a similar discipline

·        10 plus years of construction/industrial management experience.

·        Strong business development and financial acumen background

·        Ability to own projects and budgets for the region.

·        Willingness to travel regularly throughout Kansas, Colorado, Oklahoma and Nebraska with regular onsite visits.

·        Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products and CRM/Project Management tools

·        Good communication skills
