Senior HR Business Partner

The Senior HR Business Partner with Methodist Health System Corporate will be responsible for various human resource activities; including but not limited creating desired workplace culture, employee relations, training, employment law, unemployment claims, on-boarding, surveyor preparedness, and benefits assistance. Supports the mission, vision, values and strategic goals of Methodist Health System.EducationBachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field required.Licenses and/or CertificationsSHRM-CP (Certified Professional), SHRM- SCP, (Senior Certified Professional), Professional in Human Resources (PHR) or Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) preferredRelated Work Experience and Other SkillsAdhere to the highest degree of professional standards and strict client confidentialityEffective organizational and interpersonal skills including written and verbal communication skills Excellent group facilitation and presentation skillsExhibits good judgment, strategic thinker, and cultural appropriateness. Ability to translate theory into practical application. As appropriate, attend professional development and training sessionsWork Experience: 6 months experience in Human Resources Management/AdministrationOperating knowledge of HR functional areas: Employee Relations, Labor Relations (union avoidance), Employment Law, Recruitment, Retention, Compensation, Benefits, HRIS, Workforce planning, etc.Job RolesAssist with new employee /new leader orientations and other organizational effectiveness training workshops as appropriateIdentifies and executes opportunities to promote and disseminate information on company culture and values to new and existing employees.Collaborates with the business unit's leaders to identify and address opportunities to improve staffing, scheduling and other operational productivity outcomesMaintain a high degree of personal integrity under pressureResolve conflicts and reinforce an inclusive environmentApply excellent written and verbal communication and people skillsLead projects as assignedMust have strong understanding of employee relations, performance management, leadership development, compensation, learning and training and HRIS.
