Why You’ll Love Practicing Here:

Founded in 2018 by Dr. Lesley Leach and Dr. Anjuli Hein after their successful collaboration at Indian Tree Animal Hospital , 5280 Veterinary Care was built on the belief that exceptional medicine starts with collaboration, curiosity, and a commitment to doing what's best for every patient and client. Led by Medical Director Dr. Leach, who brings over 20 years of veterinary experience and a passion for developing gold‑standard care alongside pet owners, we are proud to be part of a collaborative network that also includes Founders Green Animal Hospital and Indian Tree Animal Hospital.

Here, you'll practice alongside an experienced team that enjoys working through interesting cases, sharing ideas, and continually learning from one another. Our newly expanded hospital is equipped with modern technology, advanced diagnostics, and an exceptional support team, allowing our doctors to focus on practicing thoughtful, gold‑standard medicine. We value collaboration beyond our own walls, partnering with an established network of board‑certified specialists to provide advanced diagnostics, specialized procedures, and comprehensive treatment options while maintaining continuity of care for the patients and families who trust us.

Our culture is just as important as our medicine. We're an inclusive, forward‑thinking team that values kindness, accountability, teamwork, and exceptional client education. We believe informed pet owners make the best partners in their pet's care, and we're committed to helping every client understand the "why" behind our recommendations.

Our loyal clients have honored us with Nextdoor Neighborhood Fave awards every year from 2022-2025, a Top 3 Best of Mile High finish in 2024, and the 2025 Colorado Companies to Watch – Caring for Colorado Award. We're proud of what we've built—and we're looking for a veterinarian who's excited to help shape what's next.

You’ll find us:

• Volunteering monthly at Railyard Dog Park alongside our sister hospital, Indian Tree Animal Hospital
• Hosting fun team outings and holiday celebrations to strengthen bonds and celebrate our successes
