Ag Field Service Representative

Location: Fresno, CA Job Summary The primary function of the Field Service Representative is to maintain and expand the company’s business base by maximizing the profitability of assigned customer accounts in Central California. The representative uses service expertise and technical knowledge of the water treatment industry to recommend and apply basic water treatment applications, and communicate program results to sales managers and customers. Essential Job Responsibilities Project professional image of company through positive attitude and punctual, reliable attendance at all appointments Follow all legal safety regulations and procedures set forth by the company and customers Participate in delivery and installation of systems at customer sites Work on-site to provide routine, day‑to‑day service and determine if the water treatment program is operating within optimal ranges Check, clean and adjust equipment; document findings and analysis of conditions in detailed reports Travel locally and occasionally outside the assigned region (approximately 2%) Maintain professional and technical knowledge to provide sound water treatment recommendations Perform general warehouse duties: receive product deliveries, maintain inventory, cleaning and disposal procedures Adhere to and support all safety policies and guidelines Perform other duties as assigned Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Two (2) years of experience in technical service Water treatment or specialty chemical industry experience Working knowledge of the agricultural industry Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point; ability to learn internal business systems Strong verbal and written communication skills Mechanical/technical aptitude Ability to understand and learn technical properties and functionality of product portfolio Ability to work independently and without supervision; effectively plan, organize and execute activities Possession of a current, valid California driver’s license and adherence to company standards for operating a motor vehicle Ability to physically provide service at customer facilities within a wide range of environments Preferred Qualifications Three (3) plus years of experience in technical service Compensation & Benefits The anticipated base salary range for this position is $60,000 to $70,000 annually , depending on qualifications and experience. A comprehensive benefits package is also offered, including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with company match, and paid time off.
