Business Analyst

Job Description This role serves as a key liaison between business stakeholders, IT, and data teams, leading requirements definition, data analysis, and system configuration efforts for claims, enrollment, benefits, and provider operations. The ideal candidate operates independently and can influence decisions across cross functional teams. Key Responsibilities Lead requirements gathering sessions with business owners and executive stakeholders for claims, enrollment, benefits, and provider data initiatives Write and optimize complex SQL queries against Facets data models or Facets sourced data marts to support reporting, root cause analysis, and audits Own functional specifications, business rules documentation, and acceptance criteria for system changes and enhancements Perform advanced data profiling, reconciliation, and validation across claims and enrollment data sets Identify systemic data quality issues within source systems and Snowflake that has impacts downstream and drive remediation plans and governance improvements Translate complex technical and data concepts into clear, execute-ready user stories Partner with IT and configuration teams to assess downstream impacts of proposed changes before implementation We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day. To learn more about how we collect, keep, and process your private information, please review Insight Global's Workforce Privacy Policy: Skills and Requirements Required Qualifications 5 to 7+ years as a Business Analyst or Data Analyst in healthcare, with significant experience at a health plan or payer organization Skilled in analysis and critical thinking with ability to drive work forward and communicate effectively Deep, hands on experience with Facets (claims, membership, provider, or benefits modules), including configuration, data model, or extract work Advanced SQL skills, comfortable designing queries and joins across large, complex relational data sets Strong working knowledge of Medicare Advantage, Medicaid, and Commercial lines of business rules and terminology Proven experience owning requirements from discovery through UAT and post implementation validation Demonstrated ability to lead cross functional workstreams and communicate effectively with both technical teams and senior leadership Agile/Scrum experience (JIRA, Confluence, Azure DevOps) Able to break out features into user stories with clear acceptance criteria Preferred Qualifications Experience with Snowflake, Databricks, or other cloud data platforms Experience with Facets extract tables or the Facets Data Warehouse Understanding of and experience with with medallion data architectures Exposure to HEDIS, risk adjustment, or quality reporting Prior experience supporting data migration initiatives #J-18808-Ljbffr Insight Global
