RN - Neuro ICU Profession: RN Specialty: ICU Duration: 17 weeks Shift: 3x12.0 Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Two (2) years of RN with ICU acute care experience License: RN License (New York ONLY) Certifications: BLS (American Heart Association ONLY) ACLS (American Heart Association ONLY)NIHSS Must-Have: Strong critical thinking, communication, and organizational skills Ability to remain current in knowledge of critical care Telemetry experience Description:This position is for a nursing role in a Medical/Surgical Intensive Care Unit.The primary focus is on critically ill neuro patients who require a high degree of specialized nursing and medical care.Patient diagnoses include traumatic brain injury, aneurysm, status epilepticus, stroke, and other critical neurologic pathologies.This facility features a brand new state-of-the-art, 12-bed ICU.The role includes responsibilities such as rotating shifts, working on holidays, and fulfilling on-call or callback needs as per unit requirements.Strong critical thinking and communication skills are essential.Candidates must demonstrate an ability to manage complex patient care effectively.Telemetry experience is required for this position.BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications must be current and valid. #J-18808-Ljbffr
