RN Ambulatory Team Lead - Cardiology

About This Role As a Registered Nurse (RN) Ambulatory Team Lead in the Cardiology department, you will work as part of an interdisciplinary care team to provide professional nursing care to patients in an ambulatory setting. This role is responsible for patient outreach prior to cardiology procedures and managing pre-operative and post-operative patient calls. Highlights Location: Weston, FL Facility: Cleveland Clinic Weston Hospital Schedule: Full-time, Day shift What You'll Do Perform duties of the RN ambulatory. Coordinate and resolve daily operational issues in specified clinical area. Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and patient safety initiatives. Facilitate orientation, teaching, coaching, and mentoring of assigned employees. Assist in the preparation of department-specific education for patients and colleagues. Participate in quality initiatives, process improvement, and research activities to improve patient outcomes, patient experience, and patient safety. Collaborate with care coordinators to ensure smooth and effective transition of care. Requirements Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred Experience: 2+ years of recent experience as an RN Previous charge nurse or supervisory experience preferred Prior experience in general surgery or cardiology preferred Licenses & Certifications: Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross About Cleveland Clinic Cleveland Clinic is a leading healthcare provider committed to delivering exceptional patient care.
