As a Security Officer - Commercial Patrol in Oldsmar, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment within a commercial real estate location. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the property, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service to all visitors and tenants. You will be a reliable presence, responding to situations as they arise and communicating clearly with both the public and your team. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTime Thur 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

Fri 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the commercial real estate location and its perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or potential security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist visitors, tenants, and/or employees with directions and general inquiries while maintaining a professional presence.
• Help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious behavior through visible patrols and attentive service.
• Follow all Allied Universal and site-specific protocols and procedures as directed by management.

Minimum Requirements:

• A Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
