Job Details Position: Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) Employment Type: Travel Nursing Assignment Location: Great Bend, Kansas Start Date: August 30, 2026 Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12-hour nights Hours Per Week: 36 Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,360 - $2,480 Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend On-Call Requirement: 2-3 on-call shifts per month Holiday Requirement: Rotation as assigned Job Requirements Active Registered Nurse (RN) license Minimum of 2 years of Labor & Delivery nursing experience required Current AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications Fetal monitoring class completed within the past 24 months Ability to float to Med-Surg as needed and care for pediatric patients Willingness to work nights, weekends, holidays, and on-call shifts as scheduled Travel nursing experience and Epic experience preferred Commitment to obtaining PALS prior to start if not already certified Responsibilities Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care in the Labor & Delivery unit Monitor maternal and fetal status throughout labor, delivery, and recovery Assist with admissions, assessments, labor support, and postpartum recovery care Respond quickly to changes in patient condition and collaborate with the healthcare team Support pediatric and Med-Surg overflow care when floating is required Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in Epic or assigned charting systems Promote a safe, efficient, and reassuring experience for patients and families Apply now to take the next step in your Kansas travel RN career and join a healthcare team that values quality, compassion, and flexibility.
