Traveling Superintendent
Location: Field-based, primarily across the Mountain West
Compensation: $130,000–$150,000 + Vehicle + Per Diem + Bonus + Benefits

A mid-sized commercial general contractor (approximately 250 employees) is looking for a seasoned traveling Superintendent to run ground-up construction projects throughout its regional footprint. The company works across commercial, retail, and banking builds concentrated in Colorado, Utah, Arizona, and Idaho, and a steady flow of new work is fueling this hire.

Core Duties

• Direct all day-to-day activity in the field, managing both subcontractors and internal jobsite crew
• Assess site logistics and project scope, keeping safety compliance front and center
• Keep projects tracking against schedule and budget through active progress monitoring
• Act as the face of the company on-site, cultivating solid client rapport from project start to finish

Candidate Profile

• At least 6 years running jobs as a Superintendent in construction
• Hands-on background with ground-up commercial work — banking centers, retail buildouts, or office construction
• Able and willing to travel extensively, mainly within Mountain-zone states
• Sharp problem-solver with strong planning instincts
• Communicates clearly in both writing and conversation
• Independent operator who thrives without constant supervision while traveling
