Job Summary:
A Gastroenterology Laboratory (GI LAB) registered nurse (RN) position is available in Douglasville, Georgia. This role involves delivering direct patient care in a specialized laboratory setting, including pre-procedure and post-procedure activities, with responsibilities also encompassing procedure room support. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of employment.

Job Details:

• Location: Douglasville, Georgia
• Schedule: Day shift, 7:00 am 5:30 pm, four 10-hour shifts with rotating days off
• Required Qualifications: All certifications are required upon hire unless otherwise stated. RN license (single state or multi-state compact), Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, with at least less than one year of clinical nursing experience. Completion of an accredited school of nursing with requisite clinical hours.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with direct patient care.
• Additional Information: On call required one day per week and during the fourth weekend. The role involves working in pre/post and procedure rooms supporting GI procedures. Scrubs must be navy blue and white. ACLS certification is required.
• Experience: Less than 1 year of clinical nursing experience.
• Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), American Red Cross Basic Life Support (ARC-BLS), and BLS Instructor (BLS-I).
• Shift Details: Day shift, 7:00 am 5:30 pm, four 10-hour shifts with rotating days off.
• Other: The GI RN will do pre/post and procedure room support, with ACLS certification required.
