Travel RN – Medical/Surgical (Night Shift)

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 30-bed Medical/Surgical and Oncology unit with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:6
• Perform and assist with procedures including cholecystectomy, appendectomy, and medical management
• Utilize remote telemetry equipment and document patient care using the Meditech EMR system
• Operate with a high degree of independence, exercising sound clinical judgment while utilizing available floor resources as needed
• Deliver outstanding customer service and maintain a collaborative, positive attitude within the care team

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of current, acute care hospital Med/Surg experience
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Ability to work independently and confidently in a fast-paced unit environment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Surgical and medical nursing experience
• Mother/baby experience with NRP certification preferred
• Excellent customer service skills with an outgoing, can-do attitude
