Position Overview

The SLPA will provide direct therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist in home and community settings. This role is ideal for someone who values relationship-based therapy, flexibility, and functional communication outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Implement individualized treatment plans developed by supervising SLP
• Provide engaging, strengths-based therapy sessions
• Support functional communication, social interaction, speech, and language development
• Complete documentation in a timely and compliant manner
• Collaborate with families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members
• Travel to client homes within assigned service area (approximately within 20 miles of 90025)

Qualifications

• Active California SLPA license
• Experience working with pediatric populations preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and manage schedule efficiently
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license

Compensation Example (Full-Time)

• Salaried position based on approximately 20 direct client hours/week
• Productivity bonus available for sessions completed above productivity expectation
• Mileage reimbursement provided at current federal rate
