The RN demonstrates performance consistent with the mission, philosophy and goals of the assigned unit and the organization. They remain flexible to changing systems - are expected to demonstrate quality and effectiveness in work habits and clinical practices, and treat staff, physicians, patients and families with consideration and respect.18 Bed In-Patient Unit12 Hour Shifts24/7 Crisis Triage FacilityHow you'll contributeProvides direct patient care using the nursing process in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice for behavioral health patients. Collaborates with the interprofessional team to support a safe, therapeutic environment and high-quality outcomes. Reports to the Director or Manager of Department.Essential FunctionsPerforms plan-of-care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, and other medical care activities.Documents patient care provided in a timely and accurate manner.Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition to the care team, physicians, patients, and families.Assists patients with activities of daily living (hygiene, elimination, nutrition, ambulation).Collaborates across disciplines to coordinate care (transfers, discharges, referrals, and psychosocial/spiritual support needs).Assesses learning needs and delivers age-/culture-appropriate patient and family education.Advocates for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient.Participates in unit and organizational performance improvement and required continuing education.Provides quality patient care and works other shifts/units as needed; may be assigned on-call.Performs other duties as assigned.Why join usFundamental to providing great care is supporting and rewarding our team. Additional requirements include:Active Washington RN license (single-state) or compact required.
