Associate Veterinarian

Introduction
Our client is a hospital providing comprehensive veterinary care for cats and dogs and is currently hiring an Associate Veterinarian. The role focuses on delivering high-quality clinical care within a fast-paced environment that blends routine general practice with urgent and walk-in emergency services.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Tuesday and Wednesday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Thursday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Friday from 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM, and Saturday from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM, and is closed on Sundays. Doctor hours are open to discussion, and the position is available on either a full-time or part-time basis.

Role Description and Responsibilities
This role involves managing a varied caseload that includes wellness care, surgery, dentistry, and urgent care. The Associate Veterinarian will be expected to confidently handle clinical responsibilities in a dynamic, walk-in setting. The position is suited to an experienced veterinarian.

Practice Details
The hospital operates on a walk-in model that blends routine care with urgent and emergency services, relying on teamwork, clinical skill, and a passion for handling a wide range of cases as they present. The average daily patient volume is approximately 20 cases per day. The practice is equipped with digital X-ray, ultrasound, in-house laboratories, a surgical suite, a dental suite, and additional supporting equipment. Services offered include a full scope of general practice care, urgent care, walk-in emergency care, advanced surgery, and laser therapy.

Team
The team consists of two DVMs supported by a strong support staff with a 3:1 support staff ratio. The working environment is collaborative and seasoned, with a compassionate team that thrives on variety and fast-paced medicine.

Candidate Requirements

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
