Payroll Processor

In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring employees are paid correctly and on time, while maintaining compliance with company policies and payroll regulations. The Payroll Processor is responsible for reviewing and validating payroll data, processing deductions and adjustments, and providing support to employees with payroll-related inquiries. Responsibilities Process weekly payroll for both hourly and salaried employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Review and validate timesheets and payroll data to ensure completeness and correctness. Enter and maintain employee payroll information in payroll systems. Calculate regular wages, overtime, bonuses, and other earnings as applicable. Process payroll deductions, including benefits, taxes, garnishments, and voluntary deductions. Identify and resolve payroll discrepancies prior to payroll submission. Maintain accurate employee payroll records and supporting documentation. Respond promptly to employee questions regarding pay, deductions, and payroll procedures. Ensure confidentiality of all employee and payroll information at all times. Qualifications 2+ years of experience in payroll processing, payroll administration, accounting, or a related field preferred. Experience working with payroll software and timekeeping systems. Knowledge of payroll procedures and payroll-related regulations. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and payroll processing systems. Strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy. Excellent organizational and time-management skills. Ability to handle confidential information appropriately. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to meet recurring deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Bilingual (English & Spanish) is a plus. Certified Payroll experience another plus.
