About the Role:
Join Family Eye Care of Woodstock and Lake Geneva as an Optical Office Specialist, where you'll play a vital role in providing exceptional eye care services. This position offers a dynamic work environment where your customer service skills will shine while helping patients with their optical needs.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist patients with a warm and friendly demeanor.
- Manage patient scheduling and maintain accurate records in the system.
- Provide guidance on eyewear selection and fitting.
- Process insurance claims and handle billing inquiries.
- Maintain inventory of optical products and supplies.
- Ensure a clean and organized office environment.
- Assist in the training of new staff members.
- Collaborate with the eye care team to enhance patient experience.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; experience in an optical setting preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable attitude.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic knowledge of optical products and services is a plus.
- Proficient in using office software and scheduling systems.
