Responsibilities Include:

· Reviewing engineer bid specification documents, blueprints and other documents to prepare a detailed estimate for a customer or their designee.

· Calculating the amount of labor, materials and equipment needed to provide a cost-effective quality product to the customer with an appropriate margin for the organization.

· Coordinating with suppliers and subcontractors to gather pricing and bids.

· Collaborating with project managers and engineering teams to refine estimates, budgets and scope of work.

· Completing take-offs to gather information for bids as needed.

· Understanding and navigating building codes.

· Attending Prebid meetings as necessary for larger scope jobs.

· Understanding products and installation of products and services.

· Ability to supervise Account Managers/Sales Team Personnel as necessary.

 

Requirements include:

· Outgoing, professional personality who can collaborate well with others.

· Must be proficient with Procore software.

· Detailed knowledge of construction industry and preferably the means/methods utilized to repair/enhance the exterior envelopes of high-rise condominiums.

· Ability to utilize estimating software to create estimates preferably Procore.

· Strong organizational and communication skills.

· Extensive knowledge of building materials that are utilized when facilitating an extensive high rise exterior envelope repair/enhancement.

· Understanding project requirements.

· Ability to analyze data, interpret plans and read blueprints.

· Familiarity with market prices for materials and subcontractors in the greater SW Florida market.

· Skill in preparing accurate cost estimates.

· Strong mathematical acumen.
