Telehealth options ensure that therapists can safely engage with clients in the comfort of their own homes, enhancing accessibility to care. With a structured work schedule from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, including occasional evening and weekend shifts, therapists can manage their time efficiently while maintaining a healthy work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities\n

  • Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments to evaluate clients’ needs, drawing from various evidence-based frameworks.

  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans utilizing therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
  • \n
  • Maintain meticulous and confidential clinical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations, ensuring client confidentiality and safety.

  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of mental health professionals to provide seamless, holistic care and improve patient outcomes.
  • \n
  • Engage in regular case consultations and team meetings to refine therapeutic approaches and elevate the quality of care.
  • \n
  • Support and educate patients and their families regarding mental health conditions, empowering them to take an active role in the treatment process.

  • Stay informed of new research and methodologies in the mental health field, applying current knowledge to practice.
  • \n
  • Manage a diverse caseload effectively while adhering to local, state, and federal regulations and ethical guidelines.

Qualifications\n

  • A Master’s degree or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

  • An active license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Florida.

  • Proficient in evidence-based therapeutic modalities and solution-focused interventions.

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong emphasis on building rapport with clients.
  • \n
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically in various clinical situations.

Preferred Experience\n

  • Previous experience in outpatient mental health settings preferred.
