We are partnering with a well-established, multi-doctor small animal hospital in Austin, TX seeking an experienced Veterinarian / Medical Director to join their growing team.
This is an exceptional opportunity for a veterinarian ready to step into a leadership position within a highly regarded practice known for its loyal client base, collaborative culture, and long-standing reputation for high-quality patient care.
The incoming Medical Director will play a key role in shaping the hospital's clinical direction while continuing to practice hands-on medicine, mentor fellow veterinarians, and enjoy meaningful clinical autonomy.

Hospital Schedule
MondayFriday: 8:00am6:00pm
Saturday: 8:00am2:00pm
Rotating Saturday schedule required
Compensation & Benefits
Base salary up to $180,000 depending on experience
22% production bonus with no negative accrual
Sign-on bonus and relocation assistance available
3 weeks PTO plus dedicated CE leave
$3,500 annual CE allowance

Key Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality medical, surgical, and dental care
Mentor and support associate veterinarians and clinical staff
Help guide medical standards and hospital protocols
Collaborate with leadership to support continued hospital growth
Foster a positive and team-oriented culture
Build strong client relationships and provide exceptional patient care
About You
DVM or equivalent veterinary degree
Eligible for veterinary licensure in Texas
Previous leadership or mentorship experience preferred
Comfortable performing routine surgery and dentistry
Strong communication and team leadership skills
Passionate about collaborative medicine and patient care excellence
