Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Licensed Master Social Worker, Licensed Mental Health Counselor or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist located in Brooklyn, NY, with flexibility for some remote work. The therapist will provide direct support and resources to patients, addressing their psychosocial and emotional needs. Responsibilities include conducting assessments, developing care plans, offering counseling, connecting patients with community resources, and advocating for patient needs. The role involves collaboration with medical staff to ensure holistic care and promote patient well-being.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in conducting patient assessments, care planning, and case management
• Strong counseling and crisis intervention skills
• Proficiency in clinical documentation and record-keeping
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and advocacy skills
• Master's degree in Social Work Mental Health Counseling or Marriage and Family Therapy and valid license in New York State
• Experience in community or healthcare settings is highly desirable
• Understanding of culturally sensitive practices and commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion
• Proficient in using technology to manage remote and on-site workflows
• Haitian Creole speakers and Bilingual or multi-lingual preferred

Compensation

$60-$70+ per session on a fee for service basis.

W-2 position and health insurance included.
