Pharmacy - Director - Manager

Location: Newport, Oregon

Schedule: 8:00AM - 5:00PM x 5

Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension

Pay Rate: $88 - $95/hr

Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a PHARM for a temporary assignment in Newport, Oregon. These positions are 13-week contracts with the ability to extend.

Responsibilities for a PHARM:

Maintain a system of management controls to ensure efficient and effective delivery of quality services by employees in assigned Pharmacy Departments

Assist Pharmacy department employees and be responsible for planning, organizing, directing, coordinating, and evaluating department functions, activities, and costs

Prepare and dispense medications in accordance with established protocols

Assess the clinical status of patients

Provide drug information to the medical team

Educate patients on medication use and drug therapy

Maintain current unencumbered Oregon Pharmacist Licensure

Maintain Healthcare Provider Level BLS and ACLS certifications

Apply leadership experience to guide and support pharmacy staff

Optimize patient drug therapy through clinical decision-making

Pass pre-employment/post offer drug screening
