Tech - X-ray/Rad Tech

Job Summary:


Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using X-ray technology to assist in patient diagnosis and treatment. Ensure high-quality images are obtained while maintaining patient safety and comfort.

Responsibilities:

• Operate X-ray equipment to capture accurate images based on physician requests.
• Prepare patients for procedures by explaining processes and positioning them correctly.
• Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols to protect patients and staff from radiation exposure.
• Document all procedures and maintain detailed patient records.
• Perform routine equipment maintenance and troubleshoot technical issues.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure efficient patient care.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Current state licensing and certification as a Radiologic Technologist.
• Proven experience operating X-ray imaging equipment.
• Strong knowledge of radiographic techniques and safety standards.
• Excellent communication and patient care skills.
• Ability to work in fast-paced healthcare environments.
