Surgical Technician

Your Role on the Team The Surgical Tech is responsible for assisting with direct patient care activities in the Operating Room. They prepare and stock the OR before and after surgery, gather clean and sterile supplies, set sterile instrument fields, maintain and monitor aseptic techniques, assist with the orientation of new staff, and participate in departmental committees. Position Summary Applicants with less than two years of experience may be considered as a Surgical Tech (8931) with a pay range of $32.01-$39.78. Applicants with two or more years of experience may be considered as a Sr. Surgical Tech (8930) with a pay range of $34.64-$43.07. Required Qualifications Two years of demonstrated surgical technologist experience in multiple specialties in an acute care facility Successful completion of an accredited course in surgical technology BLS required Ability to work variable shifts including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English, and understanding of medical terminology Preferred Qualifications Scrub Technician Certification Licenses And Certifications Basic Life Support Total Rewards We offer a wealth of benefits including medical insurance, sick and vacation time, retirement savings plans, and access to discounts and perks.
