We're looking for full-time Automotive Assistant and Service Managers to join Team Mavis at one of our state‑of‑the‑art automotive service and retail tire sales centers in the Dansville, NY area. Assistant Manager Position As a future leader of Mavis, the Assistant Manager supports the Store Manager to ensure each Mavis retail location operates efficiently, safely and effectively. Using fundamental leadership skills, Assistant Managers are responsible for the following: Enforcing established policies, procedures and standards Scheduling mechanics/technicians' work Managing outside orders Ensuring the quality and timely completion of jobs Meeting customer expectations Ensuring the safety of team members Service Manager Position The Service Manager is responsible for assisting customers with tire selections and recommending necessary under‑car repair services. To ensure complete customer satisfaction by delivering timely high‑quality vehicle repair and maintenance, Service Managers must: Direct the workflow of Mechanics, Alignment Technicians and Tire Technicians and stage vehicle repair/maintenance work Communicate directly with customers, assess customer needs and provide information regarding requested and/or necessary automotive repairs and maintenance Ensure customers are satisfied with their in‑store experience and strive to meet customer expectations Drive the sales initiatives of Mavis Qualifications At least 18 years of age Legally authorized to work in the United States 1 year of experience and/or training in automotive parts and/or tire sales 1 year of experience and/or training in automotive repairs/maintenance Any combination of education, training and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position Employee Benefits Competitive weekly pay, including weekly incentive compensation Health, dental and vision insurance 401(k) retirement savings plan with employer match Paid vacations, paid time off and paid holidays Life insurance On‑the‑job training Opportunities for career growth and advancement Mavis is an Equal Opportunity Employer. #J-18808-Ljbffr
