About This Role The Emergency Department RN will perform an age-specific plan of care for patients, utilizing the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. This role is ideal for experienced nurses who excel in collaboration and leadership within a fast-paced environment. Highlights Pay: $3,000+ Weekly Location: Riverhead, NY Facility: Northwell Health Department/Unit: Emergency Department Schedule: Full-Time What You'll Do Assess the patient’s physiologic health status. Conduct patient interviews and explain policies and procedures. Determine mobility, sensory deficits, and skin condition. Assess level of pain and pain management. Communicate and document patient’s physiologic health status and plan of care. Assess patient’s psychosocial health status. Develop criteria for measurement of patient outcomes. Formulate the plan of care and establish priorities. Implement the plan of care while maintaining patient safety. Evaluate care provided for patient outcomes. Requirements Education: Associate’s Degree in Nursing required, Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred. Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of professional nursing experience in the related specialty. Licenses & Certifications: Current license to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State required. BLS certification required. #J-18808-Ljbffr
