The CTTechnologist performs advanced imaging procedures, including diagnostic CTscans, post-processing and image archival, while ensuring patient safety andcomfort. Responsibilities include administering IV contrast under physiciansupervision, coordinating with various departments, and maintaining equipmentand supply levels according to protocols and safety standards. The technologistmust demonstrate proficiency in cross-sectional anatomy, sterile technique,radiation safety, patient assessment and documentation, while alsoparticipating in on-call, weekend, and rotating shifts. The technologist mustfollow departmental policies, maintain equipment and upholdcertification/licensure requirements. You will be required to rotate to allradiology sites staffed by UCLA Health.

Salary: $52.22 - $68.84 Hourly

• CRT Radiography - required
• ARRT (R) - required
• ARRT (CT) licensure - required
• Venipuncture certificate - required
• Radiologic Technologist Program Graduate - required
• BLS/CPR certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross - required
• A minimum of 3 years of CT experience - highly desired and preferred
• Associate degree, Bachelor's degree - preferred
• Ability to distinguish between types of medical procedures and diagnoses
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, prioritization, and decision-making skills
• Knowledge of medical and scientific terminology
• Strong detail and deadline orientation
• Understanding of human anatomy and pathology
