POSITION SUMMARY: Assist the Fresh Sales team with all aspects of the department, with the primary focus on buyer and procurement assistance. Extensive retailer, vendor and sales team interaction and communication. Responsibilities: Assist Buyers in all procurement aspects of the department with primary responsibility of creating PO's and assisting member retailers. Contact brokers, vendors, and sales representatives for needed information by the department. Create promotional (Excel) documents pertinent to item and category information or as requested the Senior Buyer or Sales Manager. Enter store orders in the system and re-bill out of stocks / reship product. Submit and research store credit requests. Track and monitor purchase orders and SSO orders. Create on Demand reports for Buyers and Category Managers on a daily basis or as needed. Assist in the billing back of manufacturers and vendors for appropriate charges. Move daily stores orders as needed to support daily retail service level. Communicate with the corporate traffic department and suppliers on email or phone. Perform other duties as required by Sales Manager or Senior Buyer. Position Requirements: Must have High School diploma or equivalent. Must be able to perform bending, squatting, kneeling, and reaching from a floor level to six feet in height.
