Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer to design, build, and optimize scalable data solutions that support enterprise analytics, reporting, and business intelligence initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF) and Azure Databricks , along with expertise in ETL/ELT development, cloud-based data platforms, and modern data architectures.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of Data Engineering, Platform Engineering, or Backend Engineering experience.
- Strong SQL and data modeling expertise.
- Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF) and Azure Databricks ( Required ).
- Strong programming skills in Python, Scala, or Java.
- Experience with Spark or other distributed data processing frameworks.
- Experience building data solutions on Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- Strong understanding of data warehouses, data lakes, and modern analytics ecosystems.
- Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Kafka or other streaming platforms.
- Experience with workflow orchestration tools such as Airflow or ADF.
- Knowledge of data governance, security, and compliance.
- Experience supporting BI, analytics, or machine learning workloads.
- Experience mentoring junior engineers or leading technical initiatives.
