We are looking for an attorney who is comfortable taking ownership of cases, exercising strategic judgment, and mentoring others.What You'll DoLead complex commercial litigation matters in state and federal courtsOversee cases from early assessment through resolution, including discovery, motion practice, depositions, hearings, ADR proceedings, and trialAnalyze legal and factual issues, conduct research, and prepare persuasive written advocacyDevelop litigation strategies and provide clear, practical guidance to clients regarding risk and outcomesAppear on behalf of clients in court, arbitrations, and mediationsResolve matters through negotiation and alternative dispute resolution where appropriateMentor junior attorneys and collaborate with support staffBuild trusted client relationships and support business development initiativesWhat We're Looking ForAt least 5+ years of meaningful commercial litigation experienceAdmission to the Connecticut BarJ.D. from an accredited law schoolStrong analytical, writing, and courtroom skillsAbility to manage demanding matters independently while thriving in a collaborative team settingBenefits
