Job Title: School Based Tele-Speech Pathologist Job in Montana Job Description: We are seeking a talented and dedicated Tele-Speech Pathologist in Montana to join our team in a school-based position. As a Tele-Speech Pathologist, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of students by providing high-quality speech-language services through telepractice. This is a 1099 contract position, offering flexibility and the ability to work remotely. Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess students' speech and language abilities through telepractice. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address speech and language disorders. Provide direct therapy services to students via telepractice, utilizing evidence-based practices. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other team members to develop and implement appropriate strategies to support students' speech and language goals. Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of student progress, assessments, and treatment plans. Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). Stay current with best practices and advancements in the field of speech-language pathology. Requirements: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program. Valid Montana license or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist. Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) is preferred, but Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates will also be considered. Minimum of 1 year of experience working as a Speech-Language Pathologist, preferably in a school-based setting. Experience or willingness to learn and adapt to telepractice platforms and technology. Strong assessment, diagnostic, and therapeutic skills in speech and language disorders. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with students, parents, teachers, and other team members. Ability to work independently, manage caseloads, and prioritize tasks in a remote setting. Reliable internet connection, computer/laptop, and video conferencing capabilities to facilitate telepractice sessions. Understanding of special education laws and regulations, including the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) and Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
