What you’ll do At Haywood Regional Medical Center's Homestead location, we offer Ambulatory Infusion services in a safe, comfortable environment with relaxing treatment rooms and attentive staff. Provide direct patient care to patients using the nursing process in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice. Perform plan of care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, and other medical care. Our team includes Registered Nurses specializing in infusion services, a Certified Nursing Assistant and a dedicated Infusion Secretary. Responsibilities Accurately perform patient assessments and identify patient needs Identify and initiate appropriate nursing interventions Provide care appropriate to condition and age of the patient Perform timely and accurate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record Be responsible for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient Perform timely and accurate quality improvement assessments Why join us Comprehensive Benefits: Medical, dental and vision coverage with plans starting at just $10 per pay period, tailored options for part-time and PRN employees, and more. Health and Fitness Center What we’re looking for Applicants should have a current North Carolina or compact state Registered Nurse license and possess an associate’s degree from an accredited nursing school. Additional requirements include: American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of hire. AHA ACLS and PALS are required within six months of hire. One year of experience preferred Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
