Job Title
Plan, direct, coordinate and control activities of all lease operators
Oversee and direct lease operators in the maintenance and production activities of existing wells
Monitor production and work to optimize production in a safe, cost effective manner
Ensure accurate, timely reporting per corporate guidelines
Identify opportunities and make recommendations for improvement in production and cost effectiveness in problem areas; this may include budget review and monitoring, production review and monitoring, troubleshooting of wells and analysis of mechanical failures
Supervise, schedule and coordinate daily activities of subordinates and contract personnel
Maintain compliance with regulatory, environmental and safety issues
Identify and stop any unsafe work procedures by subordinates or contractors
Maintain a positive relationship with government representatives and/or land owners
Maintain working relationships with Operations Engineers and other technical personnel to optimize and/or to recommend enhancements to the respective areas of operations
Secure and maintain all issued equipment
Oversee testing and monitoring of wells, pumps, storage facilities and other equipment
Provide direction and supervision of subcontracted services, including roustabouts, pipeline contractors, well servicing contractors, electricians and electrical contractors, contract pumpers, and materials suppliers and delivery personnel
Provide and/or ensure accurate and timely reporting of daily activities provided by service specialists, contractors and technicians
Responsible for special data gathering tasks requiring coordination of services and materials under the direction of engineering (may vary by location)
Coordinate materials needs and delivery timing activities
Confirm services provided and verify accuracy of invoices versus field tickets, authorize expenditures within approval authority (Open Invoice)
Account for materials used and assists in inventory reconciliation as required
Ensure timely and accurate data and reports from technicians and contract specialists
Execute well service with sense of urgency; identify potential DT issues during projects and replace; identify potential reactivation candidates and report details to Superintendent/Engineering
Drive performance in lease costs with field operations; attend LOS reviews with Engineers; identify cost drivers–act to reduce impact; understand Capital vs LOE
Reduce overtime where possible
Provide supervision and coordinate activities for design and inspection of all production projects
Implement and administer company policies and procedures as delegated by management
Ensure plans and performance of various functions within the organization meet or exceed management expectations
Supervise daily activities of contractors and schedule inspection requirements for field construction projects
Assist in assembling required project documents such as specifications, drawings, payment schedules, and other business documents related to field work
Monitor compliance of construction activities to Scout policies and external regulatory requirements
Report all safety related incidents within area of responsibilities and participate in incident investigations as assigned
Perform other various tasks as assigned by the Superintendent
Ability to work with a diverse team
Must possess a proactive mindset to react to potential spill conditions
Must have extensive knowledge of ESP, surface equipment, EHS regulatory, stimulation techniques, LOS statement analysis, and personnel management
Must be able to communicate regularly with Regulatory, Accounting and Engineering
Has basic computer skills; data entry into various electronic databases
Ability to work safely and adhere to all company guidelines, policies, and procedures
Has integrity, good communication skills, and a positive attitude
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, organizational skills and managerial skills
Maintains good housekeeping in all areas of responsibility
Must be detailed oriented and enjoy a fast paced, multi‐tasking, customer service minded environment
Must be experienced in staff training, supervision, motivation and retention
Possess a valid driver's license, CDL a plus (may be required in some locations)
Legally authorized to work in the United States
Able to pass a pre‐employment drug and background check
Must possess a high school diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited, state‐certified program
Certifications from trade schools and/or professional organizations are preferred
Must be capable and willing to work overtime as required and participate in an on‐call rotation
Knowledgeable in operating and maintaining equipment within oil and gas facilities preferred
Capable of lifting/carrying/pushing/pulling up to 50lbs
Capable of rigorous outdoor activities and have manual dexterity with physical ability to work extended hours, climbing, bending, kneeling, squatting, working with arms extended above the head, twisting upper body, standing for long periods, working in confined spaces, exposure to extreme weather conditions, driving a vehicle, operation of forklifts and light industrial equipment
