Trailer Mechanic

Job Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance and repairs on trailers Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues Conduct inspections to identify potential problems Repair or replace damaged components, such as bearing, brakes, lights, and suspension systems Install standard and custom hitches, brake controllers and wiring Install new snowplows, salt spreaders and wiring along with repairing old snow equipment Job Qualifications Minimum 3 years of Mechanical experience required Current and valid Driver’s License Experience fixing bearings, brakes, axles, brake controllers, and wiring is required Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills Knowledge of trailer systems and components Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual labor as required Proficiency in welding and torching techniques Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality of work Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members Skilled in effective written communication Some tools required Schedule 8-hour shift Monday-Friday Every other Saturday (8am-2pm) Great workplace with individual and team challenges and our yearly Tech Appreciation Event. $24-$35 per hour based on experience Full Time – In Person Hourly 401(k) 401(k) matching Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Work Location Advantage Trailer 110 E.
