Job Description Salary: DOE About Us Minnesota Oral and Facial Surgery is seeking a dynamic and compassionate Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our dedicated team. Minnesota Oral and Facial Surgery is a surgical practice that is driven by delivering the highest quality and compassionate surgical care to its patients. Our practice is led by Deepak Kademani, a nationally recognized oral and maxillofacial surgeon and offers a broad scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery and head and neck surgery including cosmetic and trauma related facial surgery. Qualifications: Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in the State of Minnesota. Certification by the appropriate national certifying body (AANP, ANCC, NCCPA). Previous experience in oral and maxillofacial surgery, or a surgical specialty preferred. Strong clinical skills and ability to work independently. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to travel to satellite offices. New and experienced graduates welcome to apply. Key Responsibilities: Pre-Operative Assessment and Preparation: Conduct thorough pre-operative assessments, including detailed medical histories and physical examinations. Order and interpret diagnostic tests. Educate patients and their families about surgical procedures, expected outcomes, and post-operative care. Surgical Assistance: Assist surgeons during procedures. Post-Operative Care: Provide immediate post-operative care and including wound management. Patient Management and Education: Counsel patients on pre- and post-operative instructions. Collaboration and Communication: Work collaboratively with surgeons. Work collaboratively with another Nurse Practitioner. Travel to Satellite Offices: Periodic travel to our satellite offices.
