MRI Technologist OpportunitySeeking a full time MRI Technologist to join a great team. This is a full time/permanent opportunity.Performs routine and special magnetic resonance imaging procedures at a beginning to intermediate skills level. Performs procedures to produce MR images of designated anatomical areas according to established practices and procedures.Duties and ResponsibilitiesPerforms MR imaging studies; obtains patient history; explains routine procedures and addresses patient concerns.Under the direct supervision of the physician, administers intravenous contrast media. Recognizes complications (e.g., contrast reaction) and treats appropriately.Performs the duties of Radiographer as needed.Schedules cases to coordinate with other patient examinations.Positions and transfers patients comfortably.Immobilizes patients as necessary and practices radiation safety procedures.Prepares and maintains written documentation as required by the profession and the department.Required for All Jobs:Performs other related duties as identified.WellSpan Health has adopted and implemented a compliance program to support WellSpan's values and standards for professionalism, integrity, and ethics. RequiredWork Experience:1 year Relevant experience. RequiredLicenses:Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required andRegistered Technologist-Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) - ARRT within 1-1/2 years Required orCertified MRI Technologist - ARMRIT within 1-1/2 years RequiredCourses and Training:Accredited program in radiologic technology.
