Dietitian Salaried: $62,400 - $70,720 (depending on experience) Equivalent Rate: $30 - $34/hour Shift: Full-Time Schedule: Days Sunset Nursing & Rehabilitation Center is looking to add a Dietitian to its team. Responsibilities Complete and oversee nutritional assessments for newly admitted residents and develop individualized nutrition care plans Monitor resident weights, meal intake, supplements, hydration status, laboratory values, and therapeutic diet needs Collaborate with the Food Service Director, Diet Technician, nursing staff, therapists, and other disciplines to ensure appropriate nutritional care Provide nutrition counseling and education to residents, families, and facility staff Review menus, recipes, dietary consistencies, and nourishment programs to ensure nutritional adequacy and regulatory compliance Participate in care plan meetings, interdisciplinary meetings, and quality improvement initiatives Maintain required documentation, transfer/discharge summaries, and nutrition‑related records Assist with policy review, dietary education programs, and maintaining the facility diet manual Perform additional duties as assigned Requirements Minimum education requirement: Associate's Degree in Dietetics/Nutrition; Bachelor's Degree in Dietetics/Nutrition preferred Minimum experience requirement: Ten full‑time equivalent years of education and supervised experience (1,600 hours of experience equals one year of credit for every 30 semester hours of education); completion of Bachelor's program experience requirements preferred Valid NYS Dietitian License required Strong knowledge of nutritional assessment, care planning, hydration management, therapeutic diets, and food service operations Excellent communication, education, and interdisciplinary collaboration skills Strong organizational, leadership, and problem‑solving abilities Ability to maintain regulatory compliance, confidentiality, and professional standards Benefits Paid Time Off (PTO) for Full‑Time and Part‑Time Weekly or Same‑Day Pay Options Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance Life Insurance Employee Referral Bonus Program Retirement Saving Options #J-18808-Ljbffr
