What You'll Do

• Collect and prepare blood samples using skin puncture and venipuncture techniques
• Verify patient information, label specimens, and match requisition forms
• Safely dispose of contaminated needles and biohazard materials
• Enter patient, specimen, insurance, and billing information accurately into lab systems
• Maintain sterile, organized blood-drawing trays and work environment
• Assist with laboratory equipment maintenance and quality control adherence
• Collaborate with medical technologists and pathologists in performing designated tests
• Follow established accreditation guidelines and safety protocols

What You Need

• Valid Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) license or certification
• Prior experience in a clinical laboratory setting preferred
• Strong attention to detail and safety procedures
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
