This role involves leading and managing a team of aircraft cleaners, offering training and support as needed. The Aircraft Cleaner Supervisor is also responsible for inspecting aircraft post-cleaning to ensure the quality of work meets airline and regulatory guidelines. Additional duties include managing the inventory of cleaning supplies, coordinating with airline staff, and ensuring that all cleaning tasks are completed on schedule.ResponsibilitiesSupervise a team of aircraft cleanersVerify all cleaning procedures adhere to aviation standards and safety regulationsTrain new staff in aircraft cleaning procedures and the use of cleaning equipmentInspect aircraft cabins for cleanliness and report any maintenance issuesManage the inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stocksDevelop and implement efficient cleaning schedules to minimize aircraft downtimeConduct regular quality checks to maintain high standards of cleanlinessLiaise with airline representatives and airport staff for cleaning requirementsHandle and report lost and found items according to company and airport policiesProvide feedback and performance evaluations for team membersRespond to emergency cleaning situations as requiredEmploying problem solving abilities for issue resolutionCleaning side by side with team to ensure aircraft cleaning tasks are completedMaintain records of cleaning activities and schedulesDemonstrate leadership and provide guidance to the cleaning teamWorking under pressure to meet internal and external targets or deadlinesCoordinate with maintenance teams for any special cleaning needsExemplify PrimeFlight customer service and safety standardsPerform any additional duties as assigned by managementQualifications18 years of age or olderMust be legally authorized to work in the country of employment.Must hold a valid driver's license.Communicate effectively in English (reading, writing, speaking)Minimum of 1 year of supervisory experienceAt least 1 year of experience in hospitality or aircraft cleaning servicesAbility to access and interpret information in print and electronically, including the use of electronic devices including IPads/Tablets, Computers, and Mobile DevicesEffectively communicate with colleagues and clients, both in-person and through electronic meansPass a background check and drug screenEligibility to acquire needed credentials and clearances (FAA, RAIC, TSA, Port Authority, U.S. Customs and U.S. Postal- as applicable).Airlines are 24/7, so we need our team members to be flexible to work various shifts including nights, weekends and holidaysTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential requirement satisfactorily.
