Clinical Coordinator

Schedule: Flexible schedule | Tuesday–Saturday or Sunday–Thursday | Two late shifts required TAG MedStaffing is hiring a Clinical Coordinator in New York, NY for our client, supporting clinical operations, staff supervision, treatment planning, and behavioral health services within a community-based healthcare setting. This opportunity will provide clinical leadership to multidisciplinary teams while supporting the delivery of high-quality care, treatment interventions, and program services. The ideal candidate will bring strong clinical experience, supervisory capabilities, and knowledge of behavioral health treatment practices. Responsibilities as the Clinical Coordinator: Clinical Supervision: Provide individual and group supervision to clinical staff and direct care teams to support treatment plan implementation and trauma-informed care practices. Treatment Coordination: Oversee treatment planning, case reviews, and clinical interventions to ensure continuity of care and positive outcomes for youth. Team Leadership: Facilitate communication among multidisciplinary team members and provide clinical guidance regarding complex cases and treatment needs. Case Management: Monitor clinical progress, support discharge and transition planning, and ensure appropriate coordination of services and resources. Program Compliance: Maintain compliance with documentation standards, clinical protocols, and applicable regulatory requirements. Crisis Response: Provide clinical support for urgent situations and participate in on-call responsibilities related to assigned caseloads. Qualifications for the Clinical Coordinator: Education: Master’s degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, or a related behavioral health field is required. Licensure: LMSW or LMHC licensure is required. Certification: CPR certification and Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI) certification are required. Experience: 2+ years of experience working with adolescents or young adults in a behavioral health, residential treatment, psychiatric, or related setting is preferred. Industry Knowledge: Knowledge of psychiatric terminology, HIPAA regulations, DSM-5-TR, ICD coding, behavioral health treatment practices, and community-based support systems is required. Technical Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and electronic documentation systems is required. Skills & Attributes: Strong leadership, crisis intervention, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and support multidisciplinary teams are required.
