Position Summary

We are seeking a dependable and motivated  Opening Baker to lead our early morning baking operations. This role is essential to ensuring our bakery is fully stocked with fresh, high-quality breads and pastries before customers arrive. The ideal candidate takes pride in consistency, works well independently, and thrives in a fast-paced production environment.

Schedule: Tuesday through Saturday, 2:00 AM – 10:00 AM

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, bake, and finish breads, pastries, and other baked goods according to established recipes and quality standards.
• Follow production schedules to ensure products are ready on time for daily operations.
• Monitor baking times, temperatures, and product quality to maintain consistency.
• Prepare doughs, proof products, and assist with lamination as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work area while following all food safety guidelines.
• Operate bakery equipment safely and efficiently.
• Communicate with team members to ensure a smooth transition as additional staff arrive.

What We're Looking For

• Previous baking or commercial food production experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently during early morning hours with minimal supervision.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing consistent, high-quality products.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to follow established recipes and production procedures.
