Position Summary: This role supports Sam’s Club operations by providing exemplary member service, managing the checkout and entrance/exits, maintaining merchandise displays, and ensuring a safe, secure environment. Responsibilities Provide member service and maintain the checkout area. Resolve member issues and concerns, including handling returns, refunds, and exchanges per company policies. Promote Sam’s Club products and services to members. Guide members on the use of self‑service technology and assist with payments. Follow safety standards by conducting safety sweeps and reporting unsafe situations. Handle merchandise properly, correct unsafe situations, and report to facility management. Maintain entrance areas, verify membership cards, and assist members with purchasing decisions. Locate merchandise, zone the area, organize displays, and help members transport items. Maintain exit areas, review member receipts, safeguard assets, and monitor for potential criminal activity. Maintain paperwork, logs, and other required documentation. Execute emergency response procedures and ensure compliance with security and safety practices. Train Member Frontline Services associates on company processes, procedures, and new technology. Deliver program rollout training and provide continuous learning and process improvement opportunities. Identify shrink, damages, and maintain area organization. Complete work assignments using policies, data, and resources; collaborate with managers, co‑workers, customers, and partners; and recommend improvement opportunities. Qualifications Retail experience including operating front‑end equipment (e.g., cash register). Experience working with mobile retail applications. Eligibility requirements may apply based on classification and length of employment. The hourly wage range for this position is $18.00 to $26.00. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the applicable minimum wage. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour, depending on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply.
