Shipping Specialist - Temp

POSITION SUMMARY

Temp to perm position located on site in Pleasanton, CA. Responsible for physical and administrative tasks involved in shipping, storing, and distributing materials, parts, supplies, and equipment. All work is subject to additional requests as assigned by Department Manager. Hours and Pay: (Day) Mon-Fri, 8am-4:30pm - hourly pay starts at $20; (Swing) Tues-Sat, 5:30pm-2am - hourly pay starts at $22.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Ship outgoing shipments, prepare and assemble kits, organize and label shipments. Operate pallet jack, print paperwork, maintain inventory of kits and shipping supplies. Data entry using spreadsheets, third‑party systems, ERP (preferably Microsoft GP). Manage work orders and supporting documentation. Pick and pack materials ensuring order accuracy. Enter work order information into computer system and approve receipt. Use ERP software to manage inventory and perform regular cycle counts. Meet deadlines, goals, and performance metrics for on‑time order processing. Troubleshoot carrier issues related to Natera‑site delivery or pickup. Identify, count, stock materials, and maintain records of goods received. Build kits for outgoing shipments according to bill of materials. Perform other assigned duties.

QUALIFICATIONS

High School Diploma or GED. Computer proficiency. FedEx, UPS, DHL International Shipping experience preferred. 1‑2 years of experience in a warehouse environment.

Ability to multi‑task and prioritize in a fast‑paced environment. Organized, detail orientation, focus on quality. Self‑motivated, team player. Accountable and takes ownership of own work. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

COMPENSATION & TOTAL REWARDS

Base pay estimate: $17.09 – $21.37 per hour. Final compensation will vary based on experience, qualifications, and skills.
