Overview
This position is 24 hours per week (3 - 8 hour shifts / week)
Do you have a solid foundation of medical terminology and a passion for trauma? We are seeking a Trauma Registrar who will be responsible for managing the Trauma Registry. The trauma registrar has responsibility for the abstraction and submission of data relating to trauma patients receiving care at Beebe Medical Center. Must understand all requirements of the American College of Surgeons Trauma Verification.

- Data retrieval
- Trauma Registry
- Organization
- Data Collection for injury prevention
- Works with Trauma Program manager for injury prevention initiatives
- Process and quality improvement. Data collection, analysis and dissemination of outcomes
- Community Outreach
Qualifications
- Experience with data abstraction, submission
- Knowledge of trauma services and requirements highly preferred
- Strong foundation of medical terminology

* Able To Keep Confidential Information Regarding Patients, Team Members
