Registered Nurse, Med Surg and EICU travel assignment Location: Wisconsin, United States Start date: 07/06/2026 | Duration: 13 weeks | Shift: 3x12-hour days Weekly pay: $1,997 - $2,154 per week | Guaranteed hours: 36 per week Assignment type: Travel - Temporary Key Highlights Weekly pay: $1,997 - $2,154 per week Guaranteed hours: 36 hours per week Contract duration: 13 weeks Shift: 3x12-hour days Start date: 07/06/2026 Setting: general care with Med Surg and eICU responsibilities Extension opportunities may be available Responsibilities Provide quality, professional nursing care to a mixed patient population in Med Surg and EICU, following the nursing process (assess, plan, implement, document, evaluate). Monitor patient condition, respond to changes, notify providers of significant changes, and manage life‑threatening situations per policy and standards. Administer medications (including IV therapy) with high accuracy; document in the EMR; verify orders and ensure timely execution. Initiate and document patient/family education, discharge planning, and coordination of care with the health team. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and ancillary staff; delegate tasks appropriately; maintain a safe, infection‑controlled environment. Observe, record, and communicate significant events or reaction to treatments; adapt care plans to changing patient needs. Requirements Wisconsin RN license (active) ADN required; BSN preferred BLS certification required or obtained within 1 month of hire ACLS certification required or obtained within 6 months of hire PALS encouraged Must be comfortable with both Med Surg and eICU patient populations Intermediate computer skills; proficient with EMR and order verification Ability to work in a fast‑paced, travel assignment and adapt to changing unit needs Benefits and Support 24/7 recruiter and travel support Dedicated assignment support throughout the duration of the contract Extension opportunities depending on site needs and performance Nationwide travel assignments may be available
