Job Summary: Registered Nurse, Medical Surgical Orthopedic Floor Dallas, TX
Registered Nurse candidates are needed for a post-surgical unit within the Medical Surgical Orthopedic Floor. The role supports a busy patient care environment, particularly over mid-week, and requires flexibility with shift needs as patient census varies. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shifts (12 hours per shift) with a minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure; Basic Life Support (BLS); Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS); Med/Surg experience; able to work shifts as needed
• Preferred Qualifications: Orthopedic (Ortho) experience; post-acute care unit (PCU) experience
• Responsibilities: Provide post-surgical nursing care for patients undergoing orthopedic procedures; support patient monitoring and routine post-surgical workflows on the unit
• Clinical/Equipment Exposure: PCA pump; ice machine; Welch Allyn vital sign machine; telemetry (tele) box; IV pump; Meditech (EMR)
• Float: Float rotation may be required to other unit coverage needs within the facility
