Job Title: Accountant - Region 5 Address: Columbus, OH Job Description Complete accurate and compliant closeout of federally/locally/state funded transportation projects, including vouchers and cost settlements. Utilize multiple financial and project management systems to execute closeout tasks and support broader office functions. Demonstrate proficiency in Excel for financial analysis, data validation, reconciliation, and report development. Perform routine accounting functions and financial reporting. Review and process financial data for accuracy and compliance. Maintain organized financial records and documentation. Support departmental financial operations as needed. Critical Information Shift from 07:30 to 15:30, on-site position. Education / Licenses Needed Completion of undergraduate core program in business administration, accounting, finance or related field. 6 months of experience or training in accounting and/or finance including intermediate level experience in spreadsheet software.
