Job Overview Position: Full‑Time Total Loss Claims Specialist Location: Bedford Park, IL (In‑office) The role focuses on reviewing, investigating, and determining the disposition of total loss auto claims. Responsibilities include collecting documentation, preparing claim evaluations, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to resolve claims efficiently. Responsibilities Review and determine the course of action for each assigned claim. Investigate and evaluate total loss files for insureds and third‑party claimants. Ensure timely follow‑up on documentation such as signed titles to facilitate salvage resolution. Maintain thorough documentation and accurate records of claim activity. Prepare and present claim evaluations for settlement authority. Collaborate with internal and external customers to establish facts and gather evidence. Interact professionally with vendors, upholding the company’s commitment to quality service. Provide exceptional customer service to all parties involved. Qualifications 2-3 years of previous auto claims insurance handling or related auto experience. Excellent analytical and organizational skills. Strong interpersonal and written communication skills. General working knowledge of policies, file procedures, state rules, and regulations. Ability to pass written examinations required to become a licensed Claims Adjuster. College degree preferred but not required. Experience with online claims systems. Bi‑lingual in Spanish is a plus.
